DOC member Cate and her dog Chance were recently featured in an article in the Agrace HospiceCare newsletter. Cate and Chance are part of the Agrace Pet Buddy program and, as part of that program, have been visiting Agrace hospice patients at community facilities in the Madison area. Agrace patients truly appreciate the support provided through a therapy team visit, and these dog visits are a special treat for the hospice patients and their families. Agrace is always looking for more pet therapy teams to visit Agrace patients in community assisted living/nursing homes and in the Agrace Inpatient Unit.
