Dogs On Call, Inc. visits at Gilda’s Club in Middleton, WI four or five times a year. This spring DOC will be at Gilda’s on Tuesday April 23 to visit with children who are battling cancer or have a relative with cancer. The children have sessions about cancer at Gilda’s and, after the sessions, Dogs On Call teams visit with the kids to comfort them. We also comfort adults through the love of our therapy animals.
Join Dogs On Call, Inc. on Saturday May 4 at the Sauk County Humane Society’s PAWS Walk & Fun Festival! The event will be held from 9-2 (registration begins at 8) at the Sauk County Fairgrounds. It is Sauk County Humane Society’s largest fundraising event of the year, raising money for homeless animals! Activities include a dog walk, agility and sheep-herding demonstrations, games, food and refreshments, live music and children’s activities. Dogs On Call teams will be staffing a booth, where we will provide information on therapy animals and share our therapy dogs with the public. For more information, please see Sauk County Humane Society’s announcement at:
